Starter Pack

Whenever you sign up, you will get a starter pack. In the starter pack you will get three cards from a deck that you choose. The decks you can choose can be any of the decks that aren't special. You will also get 5 random cards. You will automatically get your starter pack. Whenever you post the deck, I will add you to the active members and you can play all the different games!

Types of Cards


There are only TWO type of card decks in this TCG. The normal cards are the only decks you can put as your collecting deck for your starter pack. The normal cards are divided into smaller sections- invertebrate, chordate (fish), tetrapod (reptiles and amphibians), aves (birds), mammalia, domesticated (mammals), cats (domesticated), and dogs (domesticated). These cards are worth one, and will be the majority of the cards you get.

The other card type are special cards. These are topics that don't fit into the ones listed above. This would include topics like albino animals, fictional animals, winter, spring, fall, cryptozoology, etc. They also might be of important figures in animal studies, such as Charles Darwin or David Attenborough. These cards are worth 2 and are harder to get a hold of.

Earning Cards

After you post your starter pack, and get accepted, you might want to try and earn more cards. There are different ways in getting more cards. You could play games or make donations. But there are other activities that earn you cards. Here is a basic list: Various games, and activities will be added as time goes by and you should check at least monthly on the site to see the new games and updates. We also might add goodies and freebies on our forums. Which gives good reason to join them.

Leveling Up

Levels are ways of showing other members how "advanced" of a player you are. Levels are usually determined by how many cards you have. There are 15 levels over all. Whenever you reach level 15, you can claim a level up prize for every 500 cards you get. Each level is named after a stage in evolution. Starting with single celled organisms all the way to human beings!

Each time you level up you earn 2 choice cards, 3 random cards and 1 mushroom.

Mastering a Deck

Once you collect all the cards from a deck, that means you have mastered it! This means, you can collect a prize, and you can not trade away those cards. Remember to fill out a form saying that you had mastered a deck, and state which cards you would like as you choice cards. You will automatically receive your reward for mastering a deck.

Even though the form is automated, you will get an email back from me. I will check your mastery and send you a mastery badge if everything checks out. I will also check to see if you were the first to master the deck. If you were you get a random special card! How fun? There are three types of decks that you can master at the moment. The member cards are slightly different, they are worth zero cards, but can be mastered for every 15 that you collect. These do NOT have a mastery badge.

Every TCG has some form of currency, and here it is plants. Why plants? Because all animals eat plants- in some indirect way. Since it is so important to the survival of animal, you can collect them and trade them in for cards. Below is the basic chart of the plants. They all have a certain numeric value. So if you have 10 leafletts, that would be equal to one mushroom.

Member Cards and Chips

Every member has the option of making a member card. The member card can feature any animal you choose, and can even be of a pet! You can send in an image in the interactive section of the site. Each card is worth zero. But if you collect 15 different cards, than you can claim a mastery! Whenever you send in a member card form, the same image will be made into a chip. What is a chip? It is a little image that you send to other members that you are trading with. You can add them to a small chart, and whenever you fill it up, you get a reward. Quitting

I don't like the idea of someone quitting, but it happens. We all have to leave eventually right? To do so, under members stuff, you can fill out a form to quit. I will get the email and take you off the members list. I ask that you leave your cards up so I can grab them and redistribute them to other members.
